Do we put multiple companies on a server, if so how many, and what security measures are in place that data from one company won’t be seen by another?

The architecture was designed to have multiple customers on the same database server, and will accommodate thousands of customers on this database server.  By using User Authentication, only authorized users have access into their company’s data.
